Social Engagement - Semester 2, 2018/2019 (Detail 5)

Summary : 

Social Engagement course exposes students to community service and volunteerism. Students need to plan and implement community engagement programs in groups. Students are also required to create a reflection journal to record self-transformation before, during and after the community engagement program as well as group reports and presentations based on experiences with the communities. Statistics and Science in Education (Mathematics) undergraduates plan to visit Asrama Darul Falah to build good relationship with the orphans through fun activities in 3 days 2 nights. We also want to give better exposure about University of Malaya to the majority of secondary school students, in hope to stir good motivation in pursuing their studies and dreams. 

Objective : 

1. To build good relationship with Charity Organization.
2. Enriching moral values in committees through social engagement.
3. Sharing useful information about University of Malaya to motivate participants in pursuing their studies.
