The Training of Trainers (TOT) SULAM 2.0 was successfully conducted on 11 September 2025 (Thursday) at the Seminar Room CITRA, Universiti Malaya, from 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM. The session was facilitated by Prof. Dr. Vishalache Balakrishnan, Coordinator of SULAM UM.
The main objective of this program was to strengthen participants’ understanding and implementation of Service Learning Malaysia – University for Society (SULAM). Throughout the workshop, participants were introduced to:
• The definition of service learning in the Malaysian context,
• The distinction between community service, volunteerism, and service learning, and
• Strategies to design and implement service learning projects within their own curriculum.
The program was carried out smoothly and successfully achieved its intended goals. Participants demonstrated high levels of commitment and gained valuable knowledge and skills essential for implementing SULAM projects in their respective field.
